I tried to read through a couple posts about fonts, but they were very lengthy. Sorry if this has been answered.

We appear to be experiencing an issue where ID forgets that a font is installed. When opening the file, we may or may not get a message about missing fonts. But through the course of editing the file, text objects that were once fine, will start to show highlighted in Pink. If I go to ATM, find the offending font, turn it off and back on again, It will appear to be fixed in Indesign. However, further editing of the file (Sometimes even scrolling through the pages) will cause the problem to present itself again.
This happens on more than one computer.
The same font that has a problem in InDesign, works fine in Illustrator...
