Win XP. I never have been able to install 4.0.5. update. It either asks for a disk or gives an error. Can someone direct me to the solution?

Try downloading the update again from the Adobe downloads page.

I did that before I posted this yesterday but still got the error. NOW TODAY I repeated the update download and I did not get an error HOWEVER when I start ID and go to ''about'' the version that displays is still 4.0.3.? I don't know how long the update should take but as soon as I accept the terms I get the install complete screen.
It should take a minute or two, anyway. Are you downloading the correct language version?
