ID CS4 to SWF - huge files

I tried to create simple photo gallery with CS4 - just for test how the things work. 5 thumbs 100x50 - full size pics 800x600. Total document dimensions 1024x768. Produced SWF was 1.1 MB - wov. Image quality settings in export to SWF dialogue have no effect on the size. Setting the quality to High or Minimum always results to the same size. I tried every possible combination in SWF export dialogue but the size remains the same. Am I missing something?

What is surprising for me that quality settings for JPEG output have no impact on size. Whether set to Maximum or Minimum resulting SWF has almost the same size. A bug or a feature?

A limitation of a 1.0 feature? I have high hopes for this in the future
