ID CS4- Can only open ID CS2 files...

Running Windows XP and just installed CS4 upgrade from CS2. Love the new look, but now I can't just open CS2 files by double clicking on them. Have tried to right click the file and use ''open with CS4 all the time'' but that doesn't work either. I always receive the same error message: ''xxx.indd is not a valid Win32 application.''



The only way to open my old CS2 files is to go through File%26gt;open inside of CS4. It's becoming a little annoying... does anyone have any ideas of how to fix it?

I'm not sure what that is, so I guess not... My computer is on a network at work and the IT department is often skeptical of downloading new programs--- is there a built-in optimizer in Win XP?
