I am using Indesign CS CE, v. 3.01
I have a problem with overlapping items on Master pages.
My Master page (2 page spread Master A) has a header line (4pt) running from the spine to the outer edge on each page of the spread.
When, on the document, I insert a following page based on a different master ( Master B ) and it lies next to the page with the header line, everything appears correct on the preview BUT:
1. when I export to Adobe PDF the page next to the one based on Master A appears with both Master items applied to it.
2. when I print the document on the printer the problem persists
3. when I produce a postscript file and make a pdf through Acrobat Distiller, the page appears and prints on the office printer fine
As a temporary workaround, I have made copies of the master pages with the header lines and have placed a blank page on the right page of the spread. When I apply this master on the last page of each section, the document prints fine.
Problem is that as I am working on books and multi section documents, I dont want to have so many master copies and although the postscript files seem ok, I dont want to risk this.
Anyone has an idea why this is happening? Is this a known bug that has been fixed on CS2 CS3?
Overlapping Master page items
There was a bug that caused this sort of problem.
Move the master items a couple of points away from the spine and try again.

Overlapping Master page items
I have tried this already but unfortunately it doesn't work.
I can be patient, however, if this has been fixed on cs3 as we are upgrading soon...
It's still frustrating, though
