Font managers

For several years I have been using Suitcase to manage my fonts on Windows XP and Vista. I've now switched to 64-bit Vista and Suitcase no longer works. Can anyone recommend a 64-bit alternative?

Suitcase for Vista 64 works fine for me. :)



I think you need the very latest update of Suitcase 11 for 64-bit compatibility.

Glad to help. I was an early adopter of not only Vista, but Vista 64 and while I'm happy with the choice, I spent a LOT of time chasing and waiting for drivers and updates. You have it easier switching now, but you will have to update and tweak more than 32-bit users.



(Irrelevant aside: Took an iPhone back after two hours because it turned out iTunes was not yet 64-bit compatible... which, despite Apple saying Vista, Vista, Vista turned out to be mentioned ONLY in a tech paper footnote about six levels down on the iTunes support site.)

Thanks again. If it's of any interest to others, Version 11.0.1.52 of the exe file seems to work with no problems at all on Vista 64, although the Extensis website says that 64-bit Windows is not supported.
