File Opening Control Between Indesign...

Dear Users



I have 3 versions of Indesign in my system



1. CS is version 3.0

2. CS2 is version 4.0

3. CS3 version 5.0



Now whats my problem is while I am opening Indesign 3.0, 4.0 files it's automatically selects Indesign CS3 version for opening. How can I solve this?

You can't ''solve this''.



Adobe chose not to change the file extension per new version. Windows allows one, and only one, default program to open files with, using double clicks. Adobe opted to always open with the latest version. (Since that always works with a new version and older files. Imagine the other way around.)



Do what everyone else does, and either right-click the file and select the program manually, or start the desired version first and open from there.
