Corrupt or damaged file

Hi, we have a catalogue created a year ago that we need to make changes to. When we try to open it, it says Error 5: damaged file, cannot open. It is only 27mb.



Is there any way i can recover that file? Why does this happen?

I have a file that will not open, it is either damaged or corrupted. Can I upload or email the file that needs to be fixed? Also, is there a charge?
