ID CS4 - Problem with Character Window

On my Characters panel, I am suddenly unable to use the UP %26amp; DOWN arrows to increase/decrease the size of my text. All of the other options are still working properly. When I have the text selected, the type toolbar still allows me to edit the size of my text. How can I get this feature back in my Character panel?



Also, is there a shortcut for adjusting text size like there is in Photoshop? (hovering over the text size icon %26amp; clicking/dragging left to right or using the scroll wheel)?

Sounds like you need to replace your preferences. That's the first step anytime things go wonky like this.



ID doesn't have scrubby fields like Photoshop, but it does have keyboard shortcuts for adjusting type. Ctrl + Shift + %26gt; and Ctrl + Shift + %26lt; adjust the size the amount you set in the prefs increments pane, and adding the Alt key will multiply that by 5.
