Help!!! How to change a 4 color cmyk...

Hi Everyone,

I have medium knowledge of indesign and designed a one color flyer for a customer. I called the printer and they said to design it with full 4 color cmyk. So thats what I did. Now they tell me they want it as a one color cmyk. I am not sure how to do this. All of the pieces were created seperatly in illustrator and without redoing every file I am not sure what else to do. I have to convert it to a pdf before sending it to print. Please someone help me.

You could print to PDF and choose to output as grayscale. That would be

one colour.

Or you could convert in Acrobat.

Make sure you get a proof. Automatic conversion of full color to grayscale (and Simon's suggestions are probably the best bets if you don't want to rebuild everything) can leave you with poor or no contrast in some situations. The client should be paying you to redo this, though, if they asked for full color to begin with and changed their mind.
