Can you save down from CS4?

Hi. Does anyone know if CS4 allows you to save a file in CS3 format? (sort of like saving as .doc from Word 2007).

Then, in CS3, import, I'm assuming? Has anyone tried this to make sure it actually works? I need CS3 for a project, but would like to buy the most recent version if it will work for clients who need CS3.

No, just open it. But conversion will not be exact, and of course any CS4 specific features will be lost entirely.



But yes, it actually works.
