Can't remember if this is an easy one ... but please can anyone tell me the route %26amp; how to send it, if it is legal %26amp; if it will work!
We've prepared a document in Californian FB %26amp; sent it to the printers (InDesign CS 3), but the printers don't have the font. I think there is a MAC equivalent but can't remember the name %26amp; it may not work the same
Many thanks for any suggestions or a way round

Sending Font to (Mac) printers from...
Send a PDF.
If you must send live files you should check the EULA on the font to
find out if you can legal send it with the files.
OSX has native ability to read Windows truetype and Windows Type 1s can
be placed in the Adobe font folder for use by CS apps.

Thank for this. I've located the files - califr.ttf, califb.ttf %26amp; califi.ttf in C:%26gt;Windows%26gt;Fonts, but how to transfer to Adobe font folder? Clicking on each only seems to indicate a print out of the typeface. Don't seem to be able to move them from where they are, %26amp; can't attach them to an email to printers.
I sent a pdf of the document originally
Thank you for any further info

Just further to the last - sent original InDesign document (CS3), accompanying Jpegs, as well as document as pdf. I think the printers may want to use the original document

Rob,
Let InDesign do a File %26gt; Package command to gather up the fonts for you and copy them into a folder of your choosing. Don't fight with the Windows %26gt; Fonts way of doing it. And as Bob said, File %26gt; Export to PDF is the best way to go.
